All Species Media is devoted to bringing awareness of All Species, and the issues concerning their survival, and well being. We are a collective of video journalists, inspired to create quality media, and to work as a voice for the voiceless, and a voice of reason for humanity. Through educational and inspirational short videos, we hope to bring real life issues affecting us all as a whole, into focus. Deeper understanding of the world around us and the way we are all affected, and what we can do about it, are a few of the ideas we hope to bring into light through this project. Please stay tuned...

May Day, 2006, Humboldt Co., CA

May 1st, Humboldt County. Local residents protest controversial legislation enforcing stricter penalties on undocumented immigrants. During that day, a group marched from Arcata to Eureka and 3 women are brutally assaulted by California Highway Patrol Officers. Witnesses from the scene occupy Humboldt Co. District Attorney, Paul Gallegos's office and demand the women be released, and an investigation into repeated instances of local police assaulting women. The movie was not released until now, by request from people in the film. Although I believe there is nothing in the movie that could be construed as incriminating, I chose to address the concern, and wait until publishing the movie for 1 year. Sorry for the wait...
